Data-driven industries are increasingly becoming the victim of sophisticated cyberattacks, and the range of threats to personal health information has never been more complex. The Governor of Georgia recently announced construction of a six-story Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center on the campus of Augusta University slated to begin in the summer of 2017.
Augusta University will be central to the critical goal of bolstering cybersecurity workforce development through improved education and research opportunities.
