How to Equip the Next Generation of Cybersecurity Experts

Data-driven industries are increasingly becoming the victim of sophisticated cyberattacks, and the range of threats to personal health information has never been more complex. The Governor of Georgia recently announced construction of a six-story Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center on the campus of Augusta University slated to begin in the summer of 2017.

Augusta University will be central to the critical goal of bolstering cybersecurity workforce development through improved education and research opportunities. In episode 18 of The Cerner Podcast, Charlie Enicks, vice president and CIO of Augusta University and Health System, discusses how to equip the next generation of cybersecurity experts.
