    Melior and Obstetrix

    Melior and Obstetrix are our legacy solutions. Melior is a comprehensive medical record system developed in collaboration with Swedish healthcare. The system provides support for both outpatient and inpatient care, and is used in 32 hospitals across Sweden.

    Obstetrix is a complete pregnancy cycle support and patient record system that follows the entire pregnancy cycle in a logical and structured manner. Over 90% of Swedish births are registered in Obstetrix, with more than 35,000 users nationwide.

    Melior/SIEview

    Melior includes functions for documenting, medicines, referrals, certificates.

    • Clinical documentation is structured and based on templates and elements that the client defines. This also includes information from external systems in the form of health record links, such as those from digital dictation.
    • Medication functions aid ordering, administration and e-prescription. Melior is integrated with several of Sil's National Services. Melior can also be integrated to the national infection tool and dose dispensing.
    • Laboratory and x-ray referrals can be distributed from Melior to different laboratory disciplines. The results are displayed in Melior and can be signed.
    • Letters and certificates.

    SIEview is a web application that provides access to a compilation of each region's information in Melior, regardless of which database the login has taken place against.

    Obstetrix

    Obstetrix consists of four main modules:

    • Maternity care includes demographic data, obstetric and gynaecological history, registration of maternity care and journal notes.
    • The maternity ward module is designed to cover all journal requirements in a maternity/postnatal ward.
    • The ultrasound module is available in two versions – standard and advanced. The standard ultrasound is used for normal pregnancy, the advanced ultrasound is used for a more complicated pregnancy.
    • Time scheduling allows the care professional to create their own calendar bookings for patient visits, meetings and reservations, providing the user with a flexible and intuitive time scheduling tool. Individual and group patient bookings are also supported through the national 1177 Vårdguiden service.

    The modules are well integrated with one another, using a common database for all data storage. Each medical unit may be configured to access other medical units, and each module can also be used separately. All modules, statistical reports, quality surveys and raw data can be extracted from the system, such as the Robson Report, SFOG and Ultra ARG quality reports. Obstetrix is adapted to meet patient data law requirements for consent, active selection and logging. In addition, it is possible to integrate with external patient data blocking service. Obstetrix also has integrations with national e-services, such as 1177 Vårdguiden and Journal på Nätet.
