4. Jane Sarasohn Kahn - @healthythinker
Health Economist, Keynote at Cerner’s Revenue Management Forum
According to Jane, health is your most valuable asset. Her mother’s diagnosis of Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 1971 prompted Jane’s decision to study public health and economics at the University of Michigan. She has spent the last two decades as an advisor to health care stakeholders in the U.S. and Europe.
Jane will give her keynote address, “The Evolving Health Consumer: Person, Patient, Payor and Primed for Engagement,” at the Cerner Revenue Management Forum on Monday, Oct. 7.

19. Dr. Bharat Sutariya – @bsutariya

As a Cerner executive and a part-time emergency physician at Olathe Medical Center, Dr. Bharat Sutariya provides a unique perspective on the importance of population health initiatives and the shift to value-based care.
In 2010, he was integral in the development of the St. John Sepsis Surveillance Agent and continues to use the platform to raise awareness for the disease. This targeted, algorithm-based tool aims to reduce the sepsis mortality rate and improve quality measure compliance through the early identification of high-risk patients. It’s been implemented at more than 550 hospitals in the U.S. alone.
