Nursing record (EVD 3.0) go-live at Gelre Hospital

1 February 2021

Earlier this year, the Gelre hospitals in Apeldoorn and Zutphen went live with Cerner's nursing record (EVD 3.0). This enables nurses and other hospital staff to register patient data more quickly and simply and, moreover, the hospitals now have access to Cerner's standard functionality for nurses. In addition, an important step has been taken in standardizing i.s.h.med work processes.

During the six-month implementation period and going live, operations were almost entirely remote due to COVID-19 restrictions. Nevertheless, the hospital management expressed their satisfaction with Cerner's involvement and commitment in this project. This highlights the flexibility of our committed team, but especially of Gelre's project team, who, during a pandemic and immeasurable workload at the hospital, were able to properly prepare the end user for the transition.

International i.s.h.med growth supported by Dutch consultants

One of the strengths of our consultants is their versatility. With the global growth of i.s.h.med and the launch of the new Model System, this comes in handy. To properly prepare the parties involved in new implementations around the world, our consultants provide training courses on the Model System. This functional training consists of several remote sessions of four hours, which are carefully prepared and tailored to the needs and requirements of the customer. The training covers the workflows and the different possibilities offered by the Model System, so that the customer can make the right set-up choices together with Cerner.
