Eric Swirsky on Patient Communication and Mobile Technology

Smartphone and mobile devices are becoming a commonplace in today's health care setting as we move toward patient-centered care. While technology is transforming the industry by improving patient engagement and outcomes, there are newer ethical and legal concerns that need to be addressed.

Eric Swirsky, clinical assistant professor and director of graduate studies of biomedical and health information sciences, at University of Illinois at Chicago, joined the podcast to share his insight.
