With another start to a year filled with healthcare uncertainty due to heightened levels of COVID-19, Cerner continues to support 650,000 physician users around the globe and more than 3 million users each day. As the worldwide electronic health record (EHR) leader, Cerner has extensive experience working across diverse healthcare settings and care models.

This year, Cerner is building on last year’s momentum - more hospitals and health systems put their trust in what the company can offer them to help treat and care for patients.

Over the course of 2021, Cerner added 71 new clients using a wide variety of products and solutions in addition to extending and expanding relationships with more than 330 organizations worldwide. Cerner’s client base and the communities they serve represent the full continuum of care, from acute care to community and rural health and everything in between.

  • Archbold Medical Center: Serving South Georgia and North Florida communities, the longtime Cerner client is adding Cerner Millennium EHR to all facilities plus Cerner RevElateTM accounting solution, building on more than 14 years of using Cerner technologies. Archbold and its patients also will benefit from Cerner’s EHR-agnostic population health tool, HealtheIntent®, a comprehensive, communitywide information network that focuses on health history, social and environmental factors, mental health and more. It aggregates and normalizes disparate data from EHRs, claims and other sources to create a single, comprehensive record for each patient. 
  • Methodist Health System: Methodist Health System, serving Omaha, Nebraska, and the surrounding communities, expanded their 25-year relationship with Cerner to support their patient engagement initiatives with a suite of Cerner solutions. This 10-year agreement enables them to achieve patient-centric mission by providing the tools to help patients better engage in their own care while allowing clinicians to provide care with real time and actionable data. Throughout their relationship, Methodist has benefited from the full suite of Cerner Millennium, Revenue Cycle and HealtheIntent, noting significant improvements in consumer engagement over the last several months by providing them access to their data to take control of their own health.
  • NorthBay Healthcare:. Based in Fairfield, California, NorthBay is extending its 21-year relationship through 2027. New services include projecting patient admissions and proactively adjusting care-team staffing based on those needs by using Cerner Clairvia® workforce management. Through connected data and Cerner interoperability, when resources constantly shift, NorthBay was able to treat emergency wildfire patients in September 2020.
