Cerner Appoints New Asia Pacific Managing Director

Cerner has announced the appointment of Julie Hoare as vice president and managing director for Asia Pacific, effective immediately. Her primary role will be to build on existing trusted client and strategic partnerships to further strengthen Cerner’s position and growth across the region. In addition, she will lead and develop the 200+ strong local associate workforce.

With over 30+ years’ experience in healthcare information technology, Julie brings extensive knowledge to the position. She joined Cerner in 1998 and has held various senior leadership roles including client results executive and operations leader. For the past seven years, Julie was vice president regional consulting services and focused on the successful delivery of all client implementations across Australia, Singapore, and Malaysia, as well as the operation of the consulting practice. Prior to Cerner she worked at the Children’s Hospital Westmead in the Biochemical Genetics screening service.

Julie received a Bachelor of Science – Biochemistry and Genetics degree from University of Sydney. She also has a Master of Applied Science from University of Technology, Sydney.
