Cerner Health Forum – Seamless Exchange

On April 29th and 30th, 2021 we had our first virtual live event “Cerner Health Forum” for our clients, prospects, and partners. For me, as business developer, responsible for among others Health Information Exchange and Population Health Management, the sessions about our Seamless Exchange solution were the most interesting. The solution is currently in client validation status in the US, and I am looking forward to seeing the solution coming to our international market.
Dutch PEWS - i.s.h.med

Recently an adapted version of the Dutch PEWS (Pediatric Early Warning Score) has been delivered to the i.s.h.med hospitals. The Dutch PEWS consists of a core set of vital parameters that should be measured as standard. The vital parameters are work of breathing, respiratory rate, heart rate and capillary refill time. Saturation should be measured additionally in case of abnormal work of breathing, respiratory rate or during oxygen therapy.
Cerner supports COVID-19 vaccinations in hospitals

in the fight against COVID-19, Cerner is assisting the hospitals and helping them where necessary. In the i.s.h.med hospitals, the first vaccinations will soon be administered. For each patient, two COVID-19 vaccinations must be registered, and these must be passed on to the RIVM (Dutch Institute for Public Health and the Environment) by the hospitals for state analysis purposes.
Nursing record (EVD 3.0) go-live at Gelre Hospital

Earlier this year, the Gelre hospitals in Apeldoorn and Zutphen went live with Cerner's nursing record (EVD 3.0). This enables nurses and other hospital staff to register patient data more quickly and simply and, moreover, the hospitals now have access to Cerner's standard functionality for nurses.
